Using voice biometrics with home banking and mobile

Steve Hoffman from SayPay Technologies joins John Best in the latest BIGcast podcast to talk about voice biometrics and the benefits for home banking.

On today’s BIGcast, I’m joined by Steve Hoffman, CEO of SayPay Technologies, a voice biometric payment mobile app solution that allows members to authorise electronic transactions using their voices and a unique, one-time ‘crypto-token’.

We cover the benefits of voice biometrics in comparison to other forms of static biometrics, the origins and ideas behind the founding of SayPay, and the evolution of the idea of using voice biometrics as a solution to issues surrounding traditional authentication solutions.

We also look at the benefits of using a dynamic, one-time code for authentication, including ease and security for members, and discuss the difference between speech and voice recognition, looking at the merits of different types of voice-activated and biometric technologies.
