Anticipating and driving user engagement

John Best and Anne Legg talk about user engagement strategies in the latest BIGcast podcast, and how credit unions could learn from fitness apps.

In the new BIGcast, I’m joined by Anne Legg of Thrive Strategic Services. The main topic of discussion in this episode is user engagement, and specifically how credit unions need to anticipate trends and deliver innovations that members don’t yet know they need in order to stay competitive.

Anne talks about how Thrive got started, how it works, and what her opinion is about the scope and experience of the AXFI Conference. We chat about how credit union member engagement strategies should pull from the psychology behind the success of fitness apps.

  • Gamification is always a good way to drive engagement, especially in fields such as banking. It’s just unfortunate that people confuse developing games for gamification.
