TechCrunch just announced fintech’s ‘5 Darkhorse Cities’ who may give London, NYC, Hong Kong, and Silicon Valley a run for their money: Sydney, Singapore, Berlin, Madrid, and Amsterdam.

This week, I was down under, were we took the opportunity to look at the amazing things happening in fintech in Australia. We hosted Aditya Khandekar, analytics guru at Zafin. I also chat to Harriet Wakelam, design strategist and former head of experience at Medibank, and Alan Shields, founder of Retail Finance Intelligence. Plus, our new Aussie correspondent (and fellow BankNXT contributor) Jessica Ellerm interviews Jost Stollmann from Tyro Payments.
