Written by Rachel Morrissey

Accelerator Radio is a new podcast dedicated to telling the inside story of the participants and experiences inside startup accelerators, sometimes called ‘startupbootcamps’. This fourth episode, produced by Rachel Morrissey & Andy McLean, looks at fintech accelerators.

There’s a lot of talk about fintechs putting banks out of business, but banks are catching on to the fact that innovation is their friend and will help them ride the disruption tide.

Banks such as DBS are using accelerators as places to find talent, ideas, and inspiration for their own organizations. To talk about how banks benefit from accelerators, we interviewed chief innovation officer at DBS, Neil Cross. Plus, we talk to Amar Banwait from ShereIt, a mobile-based social share-trading platform.
