Hannah Jackson from The Body Shop on Chinese payments

Dave Birch interviews Hannah Jackson from The Body Shop about the Chinese payment environment, where ‘everybody is using mobile payments’.

After spending six years studying and working in China, Hannah Jackson developed expertise and in-depth knowledge of the China market and Chinese consumers. She works for The Body Shop, where it was her task to get them to accept Alipay. Hear how she did it and what a success it turned out to be!

“Just to give you an idea, WeChat has 800 million daily active users,” says Hannah. “I think Alipay has something like 650 million users. Both are huge.”
