Innovation and open talent at BBVA

Will Beeson hosts Mario Pardo, Carmela Gomez and Marisol Menendez from BBVA to talk about its Open Talent Competition and innovation in fintech.

Today, we’re thrilled to be joined by not one but three guests from BBVA, a bank setting the pace for innovation among incumbents. We connected with BBVA as part of its Open Talent Competition. Last week in London, BBVA held the Fintech for Companies track final, one of three main streams in the 2017 Open Talent Competition. The event was put on in conjunction with our good friends at Innovate Finance.

In this episode, we’ll hear from Mario Pardo (head of client solutions at BBVA), Carmela Gomez (head of global treasury solutions) and Marisol Menendez (head of open innovation). All three share fascinating insight about the way BBVA thinks about innovation, how it has created a forward-thinking culture, and why openness is crucial to the future of banking.
